Series Mag : Is Jared Padalecki still your buddy ?

Jensen Ackles : Yeah ! I know people are suprised about this but there is no fighting on the set and no jealousy between us, we really became “Brothers”. Besides our girlfriends are friends too so we can hang around together you know, all the 04 of us… I think Jared & I will be friends forever once the series is over…

Series Mag : Will the fifth season be the last one ?

JA : It’ll depend on the audience in the US, if the audience of the series keeps growing the way it did during the Season 04, I think we’ll get a sixth season, you know Jared and I have signed up a 06-years-contract. I hope we wont be too exhausted to get there because this year will be pretty intense…

Series Mag : Speaking of the fifth season, what can you tell us about it ?

JA : The writers have set up some pretty big surprises, Sam & Dean will have to face Lucifer in the flesh besides they can’t count on the angels cause some of them betrayed the brothers. That won’t be a long walk on the beach for the brothers, what’s kinda surprising is the fact that the writers are planing the brothers to meet God also in the flesh… I’m kinda looking forward to it cause this will be an episode to remembered !

Series Mag : What about the brothers’ relationship ?

JA : I just LOVE it when they fight each other ! And last year, I’ve been kinda reserved with this, so I kinda think they’ll spend most of the time trying to fix things up and trying to forgive their mistakes, especially Sam because he is feeling guilty for Lucifer’s rising on earth. As for Dean, you know he can’t stay mad at his little brother and this time, he could because he has all the reasons in the world to be mad ! After all, how can he forgive his brother for having caused the Apocalypse ?

Series Mag : Yup but Dean isn’t really innocent in all this…

JA : True Dean has started all this by torturing a lot of souls in Hell… You know, according to me that’s still Sam’s fault ! But I’m sure Jared has a different point of view on that ! We are both really overprotective with our characters but in the first scripts of next season you can definitely see that Sam is trying to find redemption but admitting his faults…

Series Mag : What kind of episode would you like the writers to write ?

JA : An episode that would take place in the far west ! A real western ! Kind of like John Ford’s type ! But with demons instead of Indians ! There’s a whole mythology surrounding the weapon created by Colt so the writers could definitely send Sam & Dean in the past ! The advantage of playing in Supernatural is the fact that everything’s possible ! I really hope to see the brothers riding horses to chase demons before the end of the series !

Series Mag : Will there be some “Old-Faces” returns, in this coming season ?

JA : The demon Meg is back, that won’t be the same actress though… You’ll get to see more of Misha Collins the guy who’s playing Castiel… Jim Beaver who’s playing Bobby will be the main character of the first three episodes, also Ellen & Jo will be back, the fans wanted them back so we brought them back, I’m glad they’re back…

Series Mag : What’s your worst experience on that show ?

JA : Well it’s not about a scene I shot… It’s about three people who passed away this year and we were working with them on the set for a very long time… They passed away kind of at the same time… First there was Kim Manners, and then there were 02 other technicians… It was a really painful thing to live through for everyone… We were still having fun on the set but we really didn’t want to laugh at that time…

Series Mag : You’re really “Private” about your private life, tabloïds aren’t interested in you ?

JA : By living in Vancouver I got the chance to avoïd the paparazzi, that’s different in Los Angeles and you know I’m not Leonardo Dicaprio either… I’m not that famous and I’m kind of a shy guy…
